I love designing fantasy crosses. I find crosses as a symbol of joy and beauty. A symbol of love and hope, one that you can show emotional tributes. For those not of a faith, the cross still has a beautiful shape and designs that can be made of them. For me, each one is a reminder, and I try to express some of the beauty and joy of life that my faith brings me. This is a peacock colored gem fantasy cross design. I takes a while for me to paint and manipulate these types of paintings into a cross. It is not perfectly matched in brush strokes, as I painted some of the gems after the manipulation design was formed. I kind of like to create imperfect designs as I go. It reminds me, that I am not perfect, and life is not. I've suffered from obsessive compulsive disorder almost all my life, so being able to make works that are sometimes not perfectly matched and balanced is a major step for me. Just showing and sharing my works are huge steps for me. I've hid, given away, or not worked on my art for years due to OCD interfering. The last few years I broke out of that part of me, and I am fast making up lost time. May my cross designs give you hope and joy in your life.
