Precious Ms. Rae,... what is the size of this creation? and why did you overlay it with this starking black digital emblem on the bottom right side?... (I personally believe that your actual unique signature, painted right onto the textured artpiece, would be a significant treasure and valued touch)... stem-less, uncounted , almost encroaching, ceramic blossoms. My favorite petal is the one turned sideways. Was this piece used in the same kitchen habitat as the others?

Artist Reply: This piece is 22.5X 25.5”. I just added another layer of paint to this piece and haven’t signed it yet, so I put the digital signature. I have done that on a couple of pieces either because you can’t see the real signature in the photo, or I haven’t taken the time to sign them. This is separate from the backsplash; it’s in my studio waiting to go somewhere. I am glad you pointed it out, I’ll have to make it a point to sign things better-I get lazy about the signature. A lot of times I put my insignia on it, which is a K with a backwards R hooked to the back of the K. I was going to add stems to this piece, but everything I tried just didn’t look right, so floating floral is what you get.
