This is a digital painting I did at the suggestion of a friend, WIndy, aka Nasty Harpy. I love lilacs, and they ar a favorite of hers. The scent of lilacs always makes me think of a beautiful summer day. Thanks for the suggestion Windy! This is a digital painting, not a photo manipulated or auto converted by software into a painting. I used an electronic graphics drawing tablet, my Wacom that has a wireless stylus pen. You hook the tablet to your computer, use the pen as a marker, pencil, chalk, brush once I use art software. I prefer Corel's Painter X, as I have been using the Painter series for several years now. I upgrade as it advances. It is very user friendly, and gives me the results that I want.
