Goddess In Distress

This sorrow of this sacred feminine was captured on my camera at the Père Lachaise cemetery in eastern Paris. The burnt edges and floating ashes found their home on a bed of thickly swirled Dioxazine Purple acrylic with scattered sapphire blue beads. Her sentiment should be a shared one, over the state-of-affairs we find ourselves in. Copyright 11/2007 Barb Marinelli
