Just outside Banff Alberta is this picturesque valley that struck me as having a sacred, mystic quality to it (which is why I approached it as if it was made with stained glass.
From a photo I took on holiday to the Banff/Canmore area of Alberta -definately a lovely piece of this planet.
For me, doing this piece was a rushed effort as a fundraiser for a non-profit society that works on behalf of persons with brain injury, as well as a 'getting -re-acquainted -to- watercolor- and- brush' exercise :)
