4 x 6 inches, watercolor and gouache, 2008. A watercolour and gouache portrait of Judy Garland. Born Frances Gumm in 1922 and probably best known for her role as Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, she starred in over 30 other films. She died aged 47 in 1969.

and she would be about 18 in this pic? just about the time the diet pills, double duty on film sets and inescapable meat factory contracts started up and taking its' toll on her.you'd like to think the film industry would learn from their mistakes but money and ratings will always out-rank human decency.
