Thanks for your question. No, it's not on wood. All my paintings are acrylic on canvas. I use a many layers of thin glazes, along with small particles of texture to produce these results. I don't use any brushes, only flat surfaces to "pull" the paints. Most of my paintings have more than 20 passes.
