This is, oddly, taken from a shuffling tour, crammed with people, of the Tower of London. In the middle of all of the bustle and crowds, there were a couple of moments of singular mystery and fascinating light: we were walking through the armory in the White Tower, located in the old fortress of the Tower of London. What grabbed my attention in between the displays and cases full of antiquities was the beautiful light and sparkling blue glass in the leaded windows. One was ajar, and the fresh air and voices of people below drifted in. Again, there was a sense of contrast between then and now, and the trees, heat, air, and voices of the present stood out starkly from the cool stone and blue glass of the mysterious past. I do accept commissions of all sizes, both in watercolor and oil, and I would love to hear from you about your project. Like all artists, I of course retain all copyrights and reproduction rights. Please do not distribute or copy this image without my express permission. Thanks for looking and THANKS EVEN MORE for being a supporter of honest-to-goodness living artists! Say NO to furniture store “art”!!!
