Fantastic series my friend!! Once again you are fortunate to have these fantastic creatures close to you. I have only seen them once in the San Fransisco Zoo. Even for the brief time I spent watching them, you can see and feel that they are much more than just a hairy ape, there are true feelings inside them.

Artist Reply: You know I sat watching him for what seemed like forever. He would intently watch me. At one point he came over and put his hand up and I felt such sadness, that he is not free. I honestly dont think I have ever felt such sorrow. I havent been to a zoo in prob 20 yrs and it's not likely I will go again. This guys zoo keeper is a friend of my husband. There are pro's and con's but for me it is just sad.
