(c)2008 No,...this is not a street in Iraq. Most streets in Iraq are actually safer to walk, ride bikes, drive, play on than many streets in our inner cities here in the United States. Fewer U.S. soldiers die in a day than the number of traffic fatalities in California in one day. Or the number of people murdered by our fellow citizens in the U.S. in a day. Funny how you don't here those facts on the nightly news,...huh! It's a small war compared to the Korean "Conflict". We, everyone in the developed nations, have it so good in our plush houses, cars and entertainment places. Fun, fun, fun while others risk their lives so we can have fun, fun, fun without being bombed, or shot at by terrorists. A little more appreciation for the soldiers sacrifice and a lot less criticism of their actions, or work. You here a lot of peace, peace, peace but where there is little peace is right here at home,...for many people who can't defend themselves. Or,...bring the troops home to protect us from ourselves.
