Artist Reply: Thanks MJ, I appreciate your comment! This photo was taken in a gorge along a stream! You can walk down to the stream from the Blue Ridge Parkway! It would take someone eleven hours to do the whole loop! Absolutely no one was around that day! It is very, very primitive down in there! Although, we were not alone on that particular day! We found three sets of bear tracks in the mud, so... they were close by! This is a barn that is close to an old homestead from earlier times! I can't imagine life back then, although... I have tried! It was a simplier time and more peaceful, with beauty and nature all around you! Sounds like Heaven to me!
