8 x 11 inches, watercolor with gouache, 2008 I painted this yesterday (24th April) - it's a portrait of my partner Mike and I with our cat Tom and dog Ziggy. It's a present for Mike's birthday. I got him to pose for the photo I used by telling him an old friend had been in touch after many years and wanted to see a picture of us, which is sort of true LOL. Of course getting the animals to sit still was a bit of a nightmare but it all worked out in the end

Mark, this is really awesome! The faces of the animals are so cute. They seem to think, why do we need to do this? :)) Really great portrait of the family!
