This piece is a primarily study for a much larger painting. I am aiming for the wonderful luminosity these huge clouds have. The exercise has been a useful step on the way. The clouds were in a south easterly direction. The colours, or light is a reflection from the sun setting in the west. So this is what you could be missing while watching a sunset. Oil on canvas Box frame. 24x16
