OU, exciting brushwork, love it, I might want ONE hard line or crisp focal point in the foreground, & maybe something to separate left side of right tree from same color dark in back ground to be perfecto, but perhaps value & contrast are enough?!

Wow! Your work is great. I'm a huge fan of how you painted the foreground shadow in this piece. I'm working to make bolder untouched brushstrokes in my landscape paintings but it's difficult coming from an illustration mindset.

Artist Reply: I have heard the same comments from other illustrators...that is one of the hardest thing is to keep it lose...use large brushes then you can't go small. The workshops have really helped me. Hit the paint on the canvas and then don't touch it again. It takes a lot of practice!!!

this is just superb Cindy - the brushstrokes, light, shade and colours give such a wonderful sense of the landscape filled with bluebells and there's just a real "feel good" vibe to this painting - LOVE IT :o))
