Artist Reply: Hi Margaret. Thanks for the warm feedback for my cold picture. I like the way that your paintings fit with the scenery, very bright and lush like Florida. Stick with what's around you, it really does come through in the work. Looking at your paintings took me on a short trip to Florida, which is very welcome from what was a pretty cold, snowy winter. The compositions that I like most are the ones of the truck. The contrast of the very flat, chromatic, inorganic truck against your wonderfully stylized organic palms really works. I would keep looking for ways to have man-made things pop against local flora. Be well.
