profile This shot I painted and sold; it is in my portfolio. Pirates used to come to try to rob and pillage Porto Bello. The Spanish people had guns on the other shore also. So they were pretty well protected. Hope you enjoy.

Beautiful shot! It looks a little bit in the structure like El Morro in Puerto Rico. Well, both were built by the Spanish anyway.

I love the old forts overlooking the water. I am sure there is enough history here to fill many volumns. To bad that a lot of the real history gets lost but this beautiful photo will help to preserve some of it.
