Zulu

Abstract mixed media. Copyright: Hilton Harris 2004. I wish I could take credit for having created this piece with pen and ink on paper. Alas my artistic abilities don't run that deep. I took one of my other abstracts, bent the shapes and turned it black and white with photo shop.

I like this one a lot, very elemental feel to it and like the basic black/ white palette you used.

It's funny you called this piece "Zulu"... because the first thing I thought of when I saw it was VooDoo and Africa! Great job!!!

very interesting. The title's perfect.

This has a fine graphic quality, like African cloth prints. The restricted palatte makes the compositional elements all the more critical. Very energetic. (Thanks for your comments)
