Great portrait, with a ton and a half of drama. I remember that I saw the Rolling Stones at the Hollywood Bowl in 1967. Jimi Hendrix was the opening act, and at the end of his performance he broke his guitar. As far as I know, this was the first time anyone had seen anyone break his guitar in a performance, and he was booed off stage. AMAZING!
Artist Reply: Wow, they really booed him? Guess they just weren't ready for that, just more proof of how far ahead of his time he was. Thanks so much for the compliment Stanton, and for sharing a little bit of history:)

Isn't this a fun way to capture a subject? Also one of the easiest for me. I love how you captured your subject in this pose. Love Hendrix!!Stanton Manolakas 17 Jul 2011
