AWESOME SHOT Ray! This could be a great abstract as well! WELCOME TO ARTWANTED! -Love and Light, Olga

Artist Reply: Thank you Olga, viewing your work, and that of others in ArtWanted, is inspirational for me..I joined because I found a photo my brother had put in these pages...you might say my joining is accidental...but it was an accident meant to happen...when I scanned this, i forgot to rotate it once to the right...or was that left..i'll find out when I go back to photograph this awesome piece of driftwood....it demonstrates the power of nature...cyclones in particular

Love this shot, gives a beautiful abstract.

Artist Reply: Thanks again Stefani, you blew me out with your first comment on the sunrise. I'm taking a trip back to Mission Beach later this year and this piece of driftwood will feature in photos I take then..hopefully I'll have a DSLR by then. The tree is big and it is on the beach just South of my mate's place...I'm just so pleased that one person likes what I'm trying to do.. I had to scan that photo because I lost the original in an upgrade of my OS last September....it's the same with the Dunk Sunrise..lost at the same time...I had so many snaps of the sunrise, the tree and a lot of other stuff that just disappeared..I was so disappointed...I really want the share my view of Australia with the world.. Cheers mate and thanks again
Artist Reply: I meant to add that I had better shots of this bit of driftwood than the one I've put in my portfolio..you can understand why it really bugged me when I lost then.. Cheers
