Built in Marion, Indiana by Crosley Motors, the little Hotshot was America's first post World War II sports car. It was only 145 inches in length, weighted 1100 pounds, had tiny 4.50 x 12 inch tires, 4-wheel disc brakes, 3-speed manual transmission, and a 44 cubic inch, overhead cam 4 cylinder engine that produced about 26 horsepower. It could travel 50 miles on a gallon of gasoline and sold for approximately $850.
