Roll Up – Roll Up – - – I got a story to tell and it ain’t no lie! I’ve mentioned on occasion that I teach college – and at that college I teach Graphic Design and in those graphics classes I teach students to use software like Photoshop and more ~:0) What’s all that about? You might ask – well I’ll tell you! Each time I have the final class for that degree plan I allow them a glance into the mystic circle of Photographer- Artist. On this occasion I chose to reveal the very secrets of the universe to two deserving students. I chose to render unto them how I make one of my very special photographs from shoot to post-production – and are we exhausted! This delightful foto is a remembrance of a Friday Night Dance from some years ago – using as it’s actors the lovely model Debra – a very fine Rat- Rod Pick-Up Truck – might be a Ford – might be ~:0) – and a starry night in what might be Tasmania or maybe even the Texas Hill-Country. Those who actually read the stories attached to my photographs here at VivaChas! may remember that my goal here – besides using the site as a teaching tool – is to produce Photos that encapsulate my concept of the way human beings remember great events in their lives – - – I do that by “Jazzing” them up and making them more spectacular than our general snapshots are capable of recording them – that’s why we often hear the phrase – “You shoulda been there, the picture doesn’t do it justice!” I guess that means I must dispense Justice to our memories – I like to push the boundaries of imagery to burn memories and adventure into life events – but it all begins with getting out there and making pictures – well, that and learning the things U don’t know yet! – So Go For It! Make memories & chase adventure~:0) VivaChas!

Chas, I've always thought your work was "out of this world" and here, this is once again evident as you show the vast galaxy as a backdrop to the lovely Debra and the Dancing pick-up truck!! ;-)
