Flight deck fire and rescue training, Royal Navy 1960's

This picture is of a Helcopter fire and rescue course. I trained on a similar course, we had to go in the fire and rescue a life sized dummy from the helicopter, the more teams went in the heavier the dummy got !!,

Artist Reply: Thanks for your kind comment, it was a strange feeling walking in the flames, we had to fireproof our own suits with Borax, it kept it frire proof for 4 minutes, had to get in and out quickly !

Fantastic & Amazing To See A Training Exercise as this ,as it's a Total Fire Ball,nowhere to Escape,Incredible

Artist Reply: Thank you Al for your comment, we had to go in to the helicopter and bring out a dummy pilot, it was a weeks good training, I was Helicopter fire and rescue on my ship for a world cruise.
