When you are wading in the water with the Snowy Egrets while they are fishing -- they are so intensely focused on fishing they don't bother with the photographer, and conversely as the photographer using today's equipment of a digital camera and zoom lens hand-held a couple of things are bound to happen: the pictures will be slightly out of focus or soft and the subject will walk out of your frame at maximum magnification as in this capture. I call tip to tip meaning from one edge of the frame to the other. With bird photography on site you often take what you can get with glee.
