8x10 Acrylic paint pen on canvas board. The flower was only a starting point, the shadow a strong second. From there it begins to be somewhat abstract with a focus on color more than meaningful shape. It is interesting to start a painting with no real way to know where it will lead. It's like "playing" with color and shape while losing any real connection to reality.
