Lake Irwin Colorado

This is a painting of a well-known area in western Colorado, Lake Irwin. The painting is one in a series that I have been working on of the area where I live. It is loosely based to make the painting more cohesive. In this scene the sky is lit up by the crack of lightning as the water reflects the white streaks.
