After the Hunt

This is another of the wild animals that I have just recently started to paint. In this scene a mountain lion has had a successful night of hunting and is resting on cliff side of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. The sun is rising in the background and is causing beautiful colors to intertwine in the clouds. There are a few sparse trees that are a part of a large forest just to the right on top of the cliffs.
