Autumn in Colorado

This is another one of my animal paintings from the state of Colorado, my home. The scene is of a bald eagle about to land on a tree that is full of fall leaves. There is cloud cover in the background with really make the autum leaves stand out. The fall colors of the Rocky Mountains are really spectacular and they are what have inspired me to make this painting.
