19" x 13" oval. The legend of the 1912 Olympic Games, Jim Thorpe. Hand sketched then inlaid with Chalcopyrite (the brown colors), Devonian age marble, the flesh tones and a rare Blue Calcite in the background. The Olympic rings are tiny gemstones of Saphire, Garnet, Citrine and green Quartz. Jim Thorpe was the only man to ever win both the Decathalon and the Pentathlon in the same Olympics.
