This is another small painting of a bald eagle that is native to Colorado. Just outside of Gunnison there is a lot of mountains and rivers where the eagles nest and raise their young. They can be seen soaring high all over this area and throughout the Rockies. A beautiful, fierce animal that was a pleasure to paint!
