1 Peter 1:7 The phrase "trial by fire" appears in the Bible in two verses, 1 Peter 1:7 and New King James Version12. 1 Peter 1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory. New King James Version: each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is.
