Harvesting abandoned canvas at local consignment and good will stores has created a large collection of framed canvases for painting. After finishing a mural project, the client pointed out how empty a smaller facing wall felt. I suggested an abstract using left over paint to compliment the new mural. I chose the largest of my framed canvas collection to fill that empty space. Painted the frame a linen white. The result when hung facing the mural made the room complete. She grinned, "This feels like an art museum now. I need new furniture."
