Very nice photo. Joshua Trees is a great place to visit. I like anywhere that's desert or mountains.
Artist Reply: Yes indeed it is. We have an area outside Phoenix, where there is a few miles at least of those things. It's not a 'national forest' but more state owned maybe. Anyway, the scenes technically are not as desolate looking as the California park but still worth the shoot.
