Hummingbird

This is the first painting I have done since my show in September. I needed a change from the subject and colors. I live in Colorado and the state is full of these birds. They are a favorite of so many that live here and throughout the US. A vibrant hummingbird hovers gracefully amidst a background of colorful brush strokes. The scene is filled with lively hues and delicate floral details.
