122cm x 91cm - I have painted these various birds in a semi-abstract way to emulate their movements, as seen in that quick moment as they move about, to represent people of all different cultures and personalities as they go about their business in a crowded environment. In society, people chatter comfortably in a crowded atmosphere, just like birds chattering playfully amongst themselves. Voices overlap. Weaving a constant rhythm of speech. A melody of thoughts, opinions, and fleeting remarks. Each has something to say, whether people are listening or not. Just like birds. People talk just to be heard. Simply because expression is an instinct. A natural part of life. Words flit between minds, landing briefly before taking flight again. And whether anyone pauses to truly listen or not, the chatter continues. A sign of life, of connection, of the endless movement of society. A familiar, constant presence.
