ANOTHER CONCERT PIECE THAT HAD LOST ALL IT'S COLOR. NOW REVIVED. SEVERAL COATS OF VARNISH SHOULD KEEP IT FOR AWHILE. BIRDIES LOVE THEIR BATH. HAD TO GET IT READY FOR THEM.
You do a super job of refurbishing it, looks terrific, I've got a few Garden ornaments made out of Concrete , all weathered, I might do that too, only problem is you need to use oil paints, & I really don't care for it, it's messy & takes days to dry, I have an air brush I think I'll try that.... But for now they look OK, in the garden,, You Definately like to o this kind of Art. Waiting for your next one..
Artist Reply: THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH AL. SO APPRECIATE YOUR WONDERFUL COMPLIMENTS. I USE ACRYLIC ON ALL MY CONCRETE THINGS. WASH BRUSHES WITH WATER. NO MESSY OILS. DRIES FAST. I STILL WAIT A COUPLE DAYS AND THEN SPRAY VARNISH. ABOUT 3 TIMES. JUST LET VARNISH DRY IN BETWEEN. THAT DRIES FAST TOO. GO FOR IT!!
