There are two sets of vowels. One with Long and short of A on each board, then E, I, O, U. Then there's another set with long and short A,E,I,O,U on each board. All boards have animals and interesting choices for children. These are no different from workbook pages, but Games are FUN. Workbooks are drudgery. Perhaps it's Maria Mansouri's wisdom of tactile learning that works.
