Thirteen May

Forty years these two trees stood together so close they looked like one... They grew strong together.. They grew old together.. Then on the thirteenth of May one tree fell.. Time had done what time does.. The heavens wept.. Now one tree stands alone but barely that.. Time is doing what time does.

The two trees represent my wife Myra and me. On May 13th of this year she passed away after a long illness. I painted this because my sense of loss is so overwhelming. Thankyou for your kind words and thoughts.
