Orroro

This piece is one of my older watercolors, named after one of my favorite Marvel characters. This piece is not intended to be her, but it is titled for what her name means. Orroro is an african word meaning beauty. I mixed cultures and traditional garb of varied African tribes to create this amalgam portrait. Enjoy.

The reason why, I like your work, because it shows alot of movement and flow.

Artist Reply: Chris, Thanks so much!! You know I started off trying to use oils and failed miserably!! I had all this energy in my sketches and I could never translate it to a final painting. It wasn't until I started using watercolors that allowed the sketch to show through that the energy started to appear in my finished works!! Glad to know it's working!! Thanks so much!!

I have not seen your work previously...you are very good.

Artist Reply: Thanks Jon and your work is prolific!! I didn't think it was humanly possible to paint as much as you do!! All of it is excellent!!
