I'd just finished Mineko Iwasaki's beautiful book 'Geisha of Gion' and needed to draw something. Using the book's front cover as a reference, I did this in about two hours. I think it's rather pretty, though I'm not entirely happy with it. Media: water-soluable pencil, ink, and watercolours on scrap paper.

I like this angle, and soft colors with the black, very nice.
