Hawaiian Beauty

Hawaiian Beauty Is a pastel study of a life Hawaiian model. I was faszinated by the beauty of her face and by the graceful way she placed herself. The art of placement is one of the ancient Hawaiian Kahuna secrets. Every movement emanates from total inner balance and ease. The Hula dances still stress the perfection of movement as one of the many paths towards full enlightenment and liberation. This Print are a limited edition of only 108, NO OPEN EDITION. 108 is the number of spiritual completion. Mantras and prayers are traditionally counted with Malas or Rosaries, consisting of 108 beads each. Since ancient liberating secrets are concealed within Pono's artwork, she wishes her prints to circulate around the globe like Rosaries of Freedom Chant mantras. This artwork is museum grade giclee on canvas, numbered and hand signed by the artist, and included is the artist's story.
