TAKE MY LOVE 16X20 Digital Inks 2002 The summer of 2000 I had an Art Exhibit at the Limelight nightclub in New York. I was introduced to Steve Dufour (the guitarist) from American Slang. They were recording a record and he asked me to design a few images for the CD. The third image was based on a lyric from "The Thin Line (between Love and Hate)". Years later I had to fill wall space in an Art Exhibit at Lincoln Center's Cork Gallery. I chose to redraw this image with some Photoshop filters layered in explosive color. I also chose a mat made of rainbow colored sparkles and red hearts to help dress up the final presentation at the exhibit. This image is for anyone who has loved with such intensity that they literally give their heart and soul to their loved ones.
