Lovely Passion Flower

I finally had a few moments to finish up a painting and to post it up! I've missed painting, but have had time to photograph so many inspiring flowers while the transitioning from one home in Arizona to the new one to be built in Colorado. I've been planning out new works, and will start getting some more time to get them done and up. I love passion flowers! They climb and twine,& more stunning varieties are being developed of late. I had some in my childhood home that were mixed with wisteria. I had a very small porch, but it used to be a great place for me to read and sketch with the blooms around me. I hope to plant a variety of climbing vines in my future gardens in Colorado. It will be a passion for me to plant, tend, photograph, and paint. I hope you enjoy this work, and have more to come.

very beautyfull work you did here..... well done!!

Artist Reply: THanks Blue Doll! I'll be posting up late tonight a new iris painting. LOL! I took so many iris photos at a place I staye at in Colorado. Who knew the RV park would have dozens of varieties of iris! I will have to pop back next spring to catch it at it's peak. Might trade some bulbs with the owner as I plan to start growing my own and try cross breeding some.
