This is acrylic paint on canvas, 16x24 inch. This piece was done in my first semester of art class at BCC. We were told to capture a feeling and emotion and go from there. I am not sure if I captured the assignment but I was happy with the result. The turtle started a chain of hate in which each generation of koi hurt the next until the mermaid final gave forgiveness and broke the chain by releasing the turtle. ©CS
