This is a tiny one I just finished; it's a miniature in that it fits the traditional size requirements by miniature art societies (max. 25 sq. inches) but not so traditional a miniature in that the treatment is painterly and impressionistic, not rigorously detailed and realistic. It is 4" tall by 5" wide. I was trying to capture the color and serenity of the Chattahoochee river at dusk while my family and I were wading and shore fishing. I did a slightly larger oil from this study but have recently sold it. This painting is done in Winsor and Newton "Griffin" brand alkyd oils, a fast drying oil by a paint manufacturer of the highest reputation. It's done on a tiny stretched canvas, approx. 1/2" deep. It is sold unframed. Of course, as the artist I retain all copyrights and reproduction rights. Please do not use this image without my express permission. Thanks for looking!

I really love all the shade and hues of colors that you have used. A very beautiful work of art.
