I remember the very first time that I saw Lena Horne. I thought she was extremely beautiful and had the most beautiful smile. I did my best to do her justice and showcase that beauty in this piece. I like to convey emotion in my work and because of that, I always use subjects with strong facial expression. I'm very proud of this one.
