Gianna and Angelina, sisters

This is a portrait I did of my two beautiful granddaughters, Gianna & Angelina. Two beautiful girls, two treasured sisters. This is a digitally painted portrait I did using an electronic drawing tablet- a Wacom, and wireless pen stylus. I used art software, Corel's Painter X. I used the software mediums of chalks, pastels, airbrushes, oils, and blending brushes to get the soft feel of the painting. This is not a photo shopped image.

Terry, although I do not understand the technology that you used, I have to tell you that you have done a most beautiful, and fantastic job!! I think we can see for ourselves, how beautiful, and treasured your grand-daughters are from the loving, and gorgeous work you've put into this piece. :))

Artist Reply: Thank you Carliss! I keep playing with the software and experimenting to find new ways to combine the settings to get different results or to improve the ones I've learned. The tablet is like a canvas and the stylus pen is help like a pen or brush. You select the kinds o mediums, sizes of brushes, colors, etc. and draw-paint, etc. just electronically. There are some demos online if you look up digital painting. Quite a fun and ever expanding medium to use. So much is being developed that these tablets are going to really change in the future. Some are developing virtual painting so that you can hold nothing, simular to a virtural video game.
