Latest Fashion Accessory from Marc Ecko - No. 756

The Latest Fashion Accessory From Marc Ecko: No. 756 is an original acrylic painting on paper. The work is 9 x 12 inches. The Latest Fashion Accessory by Marc Ecko: No 756, by Jake Beckman, shows the ball Barry Bonds knocked out of the park to surpass Hank Aaron's record, as a necklace nestled in the bosom of some lucky fashionista. In a convergences of sports and fashion, Marc Ecko a major designer of watches, as well as "culturally relevant" T-shirts, hoodies and jeans won the bidding on the famed ball at auction. The predominant colors are yellow, blue, red, white and of course the sun kissed skin of the model. The Work is signed by the Artist "Jake" in the lower right hand corner. On the back of the work the title and date of creation are noted in pencil; the FAR Tag No. 2699 is placed in the region behind the signature on the back of the work. The work is federally copyrighted. All reproduction and publishing copyrights are retained by the artist. Images are not to be copied, re-distributed, imitated, derived OR otherwise used in any form without the explicit written permission of the artist. The story gets even better. Marc Ecko put it to a public internet vote about what to do with the ball. Ultimately we spoke, "brand it and donate it to the hall of fame." I took some license with the image of the ball, it was branded with an asterisk not the Marc Ecko Rhino, and it had a different number on it, but in my mind the ball clearly it needed to be painted with No. 756. I paint things not as they are, but as they should be. - Jake AKAJake.com Come Experience the Art!
