Armando's Challenge Peixeiras in Color

This is the last piece now, I don't think I will be picking a pen up for a few days now LOL. Thank you to all of you who joined in with this challenge, it was fun, interesting and enlightening, to say the least.

Armando, I sure hope you will do something like this again!!

Nice version Pamela.. the pen work is very effective.. as Roy said, it gives it a very sombre look..:-)

Artist Reply: Hi Terry Thanks so much. I am still in the process of doing a wooden burned/carved piece :)

Love this version Pamela. Conveys the sombre side of the Costa da Morte powerfully!

Artist Reply: Hi Roy :) Thanks so much for the compliment!! I sure hope we can all do this again soon, it was a blast!!

I already know my father's painting. Your version is better for sure. (Just renouncing to the legacy... LOL:-)

Artist Reply: I was going to reply to all 3 but I figured since they were standard, that one big THANK YOU would do! Your dad is an amazing talent and person but then I am sure you've likely heard that alot. Thanks again x's 3...Armando Salas Jr :)

Pamela, all the versions of members of Armando’s project are just fantastic. All of them are so different. We admire your work You conveyed VERY WELL the women’s daily routine, hard work and sense of gloomy life. Bravo !!! We enjoyed your art !!! ~ Izabella & Nikolay

Artist Reply: Thank You so much for the wonderful comment from you both! I hope there is more challenges ahead and I look forward to seeing more of both your artworks!!
