Printemps

yay, another spring time picture :) (just in case you wondered, printemps is french for spring) this one was hybernating in my pile of unfinishes works for YEARS now ^^; again, it was a little bit difficult to work with my own style from years past, but still I'm very happy it's finished at last. I wanted this two fantasy creatures to somehow show the two sides of spring, on the one hand spring is not yet the warmest of seasons and can come along with its random patches of snow and crisp cold mornings depicted here as the blue-purple unicorn-woman/androgynous whatever on the right; on the other hand spring means that it does after all get warmer and sunnier, the days grow longer and so on and so forth, thus being symbolized by the red/orange/purple winged sylph on the left...I feared that she might look too much like autumn but I'm happy with the personification-of-the-sun explanation I found XD as it's meant to feel like spring, I made it rather more colorful than I usually do ^^; (I know, I very "monochromy" most of the time) but I'm relieved that it doesn't look like a complete color mess (at least I hope it doesn't! o.O ) well then, I hope you're all enjoying spring time and all of you have at least one beautiful blossoming cherry tree in front of your window ^^ ---------------------------------------------------- DIN A4, watercolor and copic multiliner 0.05 sepia
