Kathy is an Arts & Health consultant who uses her visual/sound artist and nursing background to help individuals and groups incorporate the arts for therapeutic benefits in their life and work. Clients have included Faces of Courage, Tampa Bay Cancer Care Network, The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, VSA arts of FL, and American Society of Interior Designers. Her visual work has been commissioned by Best Western and she has been a two time recipient of the South Carolina State Parks Artist-in-Residence.

She has been featured in ezine, newspaper, and magazine articles, and books. In 2008, she and her work were documented for the Dish Network program, "The Art of Living Gallery" (expected late 2008), and the University of South Florida alumni magazine (July publication. She is collaborating on an exhibit entitled, "Unveiling Breast Cancer" and is also the founder of the grassroots group, International Association of Nurse Artists.
